Privacy

Analytics

Fareband uses a self-hosted Plausible instance. It sets no cookies, stores no personal data and does not follow you across sites, which is why this site shows no cookie banner. Aggregate counts of page views and referrers are all it produces.

Outbound links

When you follow a link through fareband.com/go/, Fareband records that the click happened, which link it was, the device class (mobile, tablet or desktop) and the country reported by the CDN. The referring page address is stored as an irreversible hash, never in full. No IP address is stored. Once you arrive at a partner site, that partner's own privacy policy applies, including any cookie it sets to attribute a purchase.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, Fareband stores your email address, the departure airport you chose and the date you confirmed. Subscription is double opt-in, so the address is only used once you confirm it. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing removes you from all future sends. The list is held in a self-hosted Listmonk instance and is never sold, rented or shared.

Your rights

You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by writing to privacy@fareband.com. Requests are answered within 30 days.
