About Fareband
Fareband is a travel-intelligence site for independent travellers. It answers what a
trip actually costs, when to go, and why, using price data it collects and stores
itself.
It is not an inspirational travel blog. There are no round-ups of hidden gems and no
undated advice. Every page here carries at least one figure Fareband observed, with
the date it was observed and the size of the sample behind it. A page that cannot
show that does not get published, see methodology.
Editorial rules
- Every price is written with its observation date.
- No superlatives, and no claim that a price is good without the band that proves it.
- Corrections are published with their date rather than quietly applied.
- Commercial relationships are listed in full on the disclosure page.
